"Explore Mississippi" Interactive Kiosk
Building upon our 40 years in promoting our home state, Communication Arts designed and developed a touch screen kiosk that takes users on a journey through the cultural treasures of Mississippi. Two 60” touch screen displays—located in the Outlets of Mississippi MDA Tourism Center—let visitors explore more than 30 special interest categories covering attractions from over 40 cities and towns. New attractions are routinely added by visitor center administrators via a simple-to-use content management system.

At its debut, the kiosk’s database only scratched the surface of all the exciting things about Mississippi. That’s why we created a simple-to-use content management system that allows administrators to make additions and updates to the database quickly and easily. Today, the Mississippi Development Authority and visitor center staff are responsible for keeping the information current.
