John C. Stennis served in the U.S. Senate for 41 years, one of the longest terms in Senate history. His children presented a video documentary on the late senator's life as a gift to the state upon his induction in the Mississippi Department of Archives and History Hall of Fame. Communication Arts wrote and edited the 30-minute video, combining footage and sound bites from a variety of public and private sources.
