Location is everything and the west face of the historic Merchants Building in downtown Jackson was an easy choice for landmark signage representing Hal & Mal’s Restaurant & Brewery within. Having redeveloped the restaurant’s identification, advertising, and operational materials, Communication Arts was instrumental in adapting the brand to be hand-painted directly on the brick surface, creating the illusion that it was original to the building. Strategically visible in the cityscape, it has become a recognizable cue for tourists in search of the noble institution called Hal & Mal’s.
