Seeking to increase parental involvement in decisions that affect their children’s education, Parents for Public Schools asked Communication Arts to develop recruiting materials for a special initiative to organize more chapters in Mississippi. We responded with a visually arresting reminder that parents of public school students are an overwhelming majority that deserves to be heard. Brochures, information sheets, outdoor boards, print ads, and PowerPoint® templates were designed to leverage the PPS identity with the simple call to action,“We’re everywhere. Join us.” Building on the key advantage of strength in numbers, the materials were produced to be customizable for any chapter in the nation.
