In response to a grant through the National Governors Association, the Office of Healthy Schools (a division of the Mississippi Department of Education) and the Center for Mississippi Health Policy compiled a written report highlighting the need for new policies to stop the growing obesity problem in the state. Communication Arts played a large role in sculpting the pre-written report to be an informative and visually compelling reference tool that declares facts, recounts previous efforts, itemizes tangible success stories, and challenges policymakers and state agencies to take action.

Throughout the book, thought-provoking statistics are highlighted in large circles, coupled with imagery related to the policy change being discussed.
