
Communication Arts’ award-winning promotional campaign DINOSAURS! was a rip-roaring success, attracting more than 100,000 visitors during the exhibit’s six-month stay at the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science. Combining a familiar yellow traffic sign, a dinosaur silhouette, and a brilliant blue sky landscape, the campaign was visually arresting, required little further explanation, and stimulated the thought that dinosaurs were lumbering about the Museum grounds.


With a full campaign at the ready, the first public awareness was a playful, members-only invitation, heralding the premier of the exhibit.

A Gold ADDY Award-winning ad series ran in regional newspapers and magazines, and emailers provided direct marketing during the exhibit’s six-month stay
