Making jewelry of found objects and discarded materials is an art form and enterprise for the youthful founders of Junk Jewels, for whom Communication Arts assembled a logotype that is as playful as the jewelry itself. Capitalizing on their theme of reuse, Communication Arts composed a richly textured palette of recycled papers and boards, window screen, craft bags, and shredded paper for the startup business. Armed with a rubber stamp, stapler and hole punch, Junk Jewels was off to an affordable and award-winning start.
