The Take Care Campaign was a comprehensive statewide public education and awareness effort designed to prevent adolescent pregnancy. Funded by a grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to the Mississippi Department of Health, the campaign included public relations and media plans, television and radio public service announcements, two videos with discussion guides, and other informational resources and activities. Materials were evaluated and tested with the intended target audiences and revised as the research prompted prior to production and placement.
