As part of The Office of Healthy Schools’ commitment to encourage life-long healthful behaviors that contribute to the development of productive citizens, Communication Arts was selected to create a distinctive web presence that would help provide technical assistance and services to schools and communities. Top navigation delivers administrative and overarching content, while left navigation is based upon the eight OHS components of service. OHS staff routinely add and edit pages using recommended software and style templates designed by Communication Arts.

Each service page provides a platform for specific information, resources, and contacts. Right side subnavigation provides quick access throughout the service section.

Reporting of initiatives is ongoing and detailed through linked pages. A customized search engine provides convenience.

Although independently hosted, the OHS website is coordinated with the Mississippi Department of Education’s website and provides links to federal services and online applications.
