Jené Barranco believes the dinner table is the center of family life. Her cottage business—That Mama—represents a modern, multi-tasking woman with strong family traditions, striving to teach the importance of good food, friends, and family. For the name (born from the Barranco family dinnertime exclamation, “That Mama sure can cook!”) Communication Arts created a custom wordmark using classical type styling and a rich color palette of slate blue, wine red, and deep maize.

Appropriately, Jené corresponds via personal handwritten notes.

Crisp white identifier labels, in varying sizes, combine with textured stationery papers and homemade products to create a distinctive impression.
