Flanking a central compass rose with humanized versions of the same in opposing attitudes, Communication Arts’ identification design for COMPASS Project illustrates the catalytic effect the program provides in turning around the lives of young people in distress. A cheerful yellow orange evokes hope and sunshine, while the letterforms of the name energetically mark points on a compass for this Mississippi Mental Health Services program.

COMPASS Project is empowered to meet the needs of individual children and families by bringing together public and private service agencies (mental health, education, juvenile justice, vocational, and protective).

Communication Arts developed a simple table top display and companion brochure.
