For this innovative architect embarking upon independent practice, Communication Arts designed an archetypal wordmark with a contemporary twist. Replacing the “O” of his classically typestyled surname with an audacious geometric circle made a strong graphic statement. Infilling that bold circle with the intricate plan drawing of the Roman Pantheon (26 BC) turns the “O” into a peep hole. The color black carries the wordmark through distinctive and versatile operational materials on crisp white paper stock—each dramatically yet affordably executed in just one additional color (olive, eggplant, or buttery yellow).

Tatami-proportioned, pressure-sensitive labels in varying colors are folded at center and applied to blank document envelopes from front to back, displaying brand and providing return address.

Tags, also in Tatami proportion, are punched through the “O” for attachment to rolled drawings.
