Filled with hope, this little book of original drawings and poems presents the concerns, excitement, and curiosity of boys and girls, aged 4 through 11, at Palmer Home for Children. Published by a benefactor for use in fundraising, Worries Wonders Whys not only helped raise money, it raised the self-esteem of its young authors. Communication Arts composed introductory and closing remarks and selected and paired the children’s original art by Palmer Home children with their handwritten messages to create the 64-page hard-cover book.
