Every four years the state of Mississippi is mandated to publish an Official Statistical Registry, more familiarly known as the “Blue Book.” Breaking from the traditional form for the nearly 400-page, soft-bound reference book, Communication Arts developed a handy efficient vertical format that improved legibility of comprehensive statistical data and indexing. Display items, such as images of tourism and commerce, were featured prominently, along with keyed maps.
