The Electric Power Associations of Mississippi generously provide a limited-edition, 48-page directory of current government officials and legislators. Communication Arts developed content guidelines, style templates, and layout for the first edition in 1988, and continued design and production service for the next 20 years, employing images from local photographers and fine artists. The short time frame between election and the start of the session create unique challenges for the annual production.

Each year the periodical is produced in two editions: one for start-of-session and another after seat and committee assignments. Pages serving the House and Senate receive a specially marked version as a keepsake of the session.

The periodical identifies districts (by map and reference numbers) and consistently provides portrait, biography, committee and seat assignments, and contact information for each member of the legislature.

Reference materials include full listings of members by committee, a session calendar with critical dates in place, and a glossary of abbreviations that enable the publication to remain compact.
